What will be the effect of Free Trade Negotiation on Study Visa of Indians

For the last 18 months, there was talk of an agreement between India and the UK. The main objective of the agreement was to expand business and investment between India and the UK and to resolve the obstacles in their relationship. Considering the recent similar agreements between the UK, Australia and New Zealand, it is likely that there will be an increase in work and study visas for Indian nationals.

According to James Cleverly, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, India-UK relations have seen great progress and the UK-India relationship is of great importance to them. With this, he will make every effort to deepen this mutual relationship to keep it strong.

The Prime Ministers of both the countries have decided that this needs to be concluded soon and they are ready to start talks. However, it was scheduled to end by Diwali. In a discussion with TIMES, James Cleverly said that the number of Indians wanting to study in the UK is huge, with which he added that Indian companies want to engage in commerce there. He expressed his enthusiasm on this and said that this is a positive development for our relationship as well as for both the countries, which is a reason for celebration and happiness.

James Cleverley also said that he would like to see the eagerness and passion that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who is Indian in origin, brought among Indians.

So if seen, this agreement is a good news for Indians, whose benefit of running well and being successful will not only be seen by the students interested in Study Abroad, but will be seen in all in all Indians and UK people.
