It’s great to know that you want to become an engineer. Let me tell you that to become an engineer you must have an engineering degree and you have many paths to do a degree in engineering. First of all you can start preparing for JEE Mains from your 11th class and by passing JEE exam you can take admission in IIT college. If you have passed your 12th class then you can still give JEE exam. You can join coaching for JEE preparation. If you are not able to clear JEE exam or are unable to appear for any reason, then you can take admission in a private engineering college. After taking admission in the college you have to select your stream like: chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical Engineering, computer science engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial Engineering, nuclear engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Biochemical Engineering, environmental engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Marine Engineering e.t.c.

Also you have another option engineering from abroad to do also. You want to do engineering abroad United States of America, United Kingdom (UK), Australia, Germany, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, China, Japan, Italy You can select any one country etc.

English proficiency test you need to do engineering abroad IELTS either TOEFL and for Bachelors SAT and for masters courses GRE Score is required.

After completing your studies in engineering, you can apply engineer with your name.
